Here are some common issues with exports and what to do about them.
Your export has timed out
- In order to protect our servers, downloads automatically timeout after an hour. If your download was very detailed or for a very large area, there may not be enough processing power to complete it! Keep track of the time, and if your download doesn't complete after an hour, you may have to try a smaller area or a less detailed resolution.
Your layer says 'Export failed!'
- Sometimes server traffic causes an export to fail. If you see this message on your layer, click on the three dots and select "Retry". If this doesn't work, please let us know at contact@equatorstudios.com.
Your shapefile won't open
- Remember - a shapefile is made up of several files! Make sure to keep all of the files that you receive in the zip folder together.
